Although only in Beaune for a short time, we greatly enjoyed our stay in this quaint town in the Burgundy wine region. The town center looks like it came straight from a Disney fairytale. 

After exploring this quaint little town, we headed off to an exciting evening of wine tasting some of the famous wine of this region, and a delicious dinner including traditional French dishes like Beef Bourguignon and Creme Brulee. Adding to the ambience, the restaurant was in an ancient building that used to house monks many centuries ago. Much of the ancient structure still remains intact today.
